An established poet and winner of a major grant from Arts Queensland to write a collection of poems drawing on themes in Italian Renaissance Art, Gary was a founding member of the Queensland Poets Association and has managed publicity for Queensland Poetry Festivals. Gary’s second collection "Nights in the Gardens of Spain" (Post Pressed 2003) has received excellent reviews in Australia and abroad.
